Microneedling + PRP

Microneedling harnesses your skin's own repair cascade. PRP supercharges it with concentrated growth factors from your own blood. The result is measurably firmer, smoother, more luminous skin, with no synthetic fillers and no foreign substances involved.

Your body's own healing intelligence, amplified by precision.

Understanding Microneedling & PRP

Microneedling (collagen induction therapy) uses a device with fine, sterile needles to create thousands of controlled micro-injuries in the skin. These micro-channels trigger the skin's wound-healing response: releasing growth factors, stimulating fibroblasts, and initiating new collagen and elastin synthesis. PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is derived from a small sample of your own blood: spun in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets, which are rich in growth factors (PDGF, VEGF, EGF, TGF-β) that accelerate and amplify the healing and regenerative response.

The process

A small blood draw is performed first for PRP preparation. While the blood is spinning in the centrifuge (10–15 minutes), topical numbing cream is applied to the treatment area. The microneedling device is then passed across the skin at calibrated depths (0.5mm–2.5mm) depending on the area and concern being treated. The PRP (or premium serum) is applied simultaneously, flooding into the micro-channels, where it can penetrate up to 1000× deeper than topical application. The entire treatment takes 60–90 minutes. Collagen remodeling continues for 3–6 months after each session, with the best results seen after a series of 3 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart.

Microneedling & PRP treatments & options

Microneedling + PRP (Vampire Facial)

The gold standard combination: microneedling channels paired with your own PRP for maximum collagen stimulation, natural growth factor delivery, and accelerated skin renewal. Best for skin laxity, textural irregularities, and anti-aging.

Microneedling + Premium Serums

For patients who prefer not to use PRP, premium serums are infused through the micro-channels instead: hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, EGF (epidermal growth factor), stem cell extract, and peptides. Penetration is up to 1000× deeper than topical application.

PRP Vampire Facial: Targeted

PRP applied after microneedling specifically to address acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, post-inflammatory marks, and areas of uneven pigmentation with concentrated growth factor delivery.

Under-Eye PRP

PRP injected or microneedled into the delicate under-eye area to improve dark circles caused by thin skin, hollowness, and vascular pooling, using your body's own growth factors rather than filler.

LED Light Therapy Add-On

Red (630nm) and near-infrared (830nm) light applied after microneedling to reduce post-treatment inflammation, accelerate healing, and further stimulate collagen production. Blue light available for acne-prone skin.

Dermaplaning Add-On

A surgical-grade blade exfoliates dead skin cells and vellus hair before microneedling, enhancing serum penetration and creating a smooth surface for treatment.

Am I a good candidate?

Microneedling and PRP are suitable for most skin tones and types and address a wide range of concerns.

  • Those with fine lines, skin laxity, and loss of facial volume from collagen decline
  • Patients with acne scars, surgical scars, or stretch marks
  • Anyone dealing with enlarged pores, uneven skin texture, or dull complexion
  • Those with hyperpigmentation, sun damage, or melasma
  • Patients who want natural skin renewal without synthetic fillers or toxins
  • Anyone looking to proactively maintain skin quality and delay signs of aging

Why patients choose this

  • Natural collagen and elastin stimulation, no synthetic substances
  • Effective for all skin tones (lower risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation vs. lasers)
  • Cumulative improvement over 3–6 months per session
  • Addresses multiple concerns: texture, laxity, pores, scars, pigmentation
  • PRP uses your own biology: no allergy risk
  • Can be combined with Botox for a comprehensive facial rejuvenation approach

Common questions about Microneedling & PRP

Most patients see meaningful improvement after a single session, but a series of 3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart produces the most significant, lasting results. Maintenance sessions every 6–12 months are recommended.

With the numbing cream applied 30–45 minutes before treatment, most patients find it very tolerable. You will feel pressure and a mild scratching sensation. Devorah adjusts needle depth to your skin's tolerance and concern being treated.

Immediately after treatment, your skin will appear red, similar to a mild sunburn. This resolves within 24–48 hours for most patients. You may experience mild dryness and flaking in days 3–5. Most patients return to normal activities within 24–72 hours. No makeup for the first 24 hours.

PRP is the gold standard for anti-aging and skin regeneration. It uses your own biology and delivers the richest array of growth factors. Premium serums (especially EGF and stem cell) are excellent alternatives and can produce remarkable results. Devorah will recommend the approach best suited to your skin concerns and goals.

Yes. Microneedling is one of the most evidence-supported treatments for atrophic (depressed) acne scars. The micro-injuries stimulate collagen fill-in within the scar, gradually improving depth and texture over a series of sessions.

Yes. Microneedling pairs well with Botox (schedule Botox 2 weeks before or after), LED light therapy (same session add-on), and dermaplaning. Devorah will build a treatment plan that sequences your services optimally.
