Repechage is a professional skincare brand founded by aesthetician Lydia Sarfati, built on the therapeutic properties of marine botanicals, particularly Laminaria digitata seaweed harvested from the cold Atlantic. Seaweed is one of the most nutrient-dense organisms on earth: rich in trace minerals, amino acids, vitamins, and bioactive compounds that the skin recognizes and absorbs readily. Repechage facials are not spa facials. They are targeted, results-driven clinical protocols used in medical aesthetics practices.
The process
Each Repechage facial follows a multi-step protocol: cleansing, exfoliation, specialized treatment masks (often multi-layer), active serums, and finishing products, all formulated around the active marine ingredients specific to each protocol. The warm seaweed masks (in protocols like Four Layer and Cryotherapy) create an occlusive layer that drives active ingredients deep into the skin. The cold Cryotherapy gel creates a thermal contrast effect that stimulates circulation and tightens. Each session is 60–75 minutes.

For maintenance and general skin health, once a month is ideal. For targeted concern treatment (acne, redness), more frequent sessions initially (every 2–3 weeks) may be recommended until the concern is controlled.
Yes. Repechage facials pair well with LED light therapy added to the session. They are also an excellent maintenance treatment between microneedling sessions. Wait at least 2 weeks after Botox before a facial.
No downtime. Your skin may appear slightly flushed for a few hours after the Cryotherapy facial (from the thermal stimulation), but there is no peeling, redness, or recovery required. Makeup can be applied the same day.
